This school is
officially named CRA ( Colegio Rural Agrupado) because it is located in a small
village called Nava de Abajo and it only has 30 pupils from kindergarten ( 3 to 5 years
old) to the last level of Primay School ( 11- 12 years old pupils). The building
is small and there
are only four teachers, so the students are organized in mixed levels:
Kindergarten, 6-7 years, 8-9 years and 10-11 years of age.
Regarding this
activity, it is remarkable to note the keen interest teachers and students show
for the knowledge of the Universe. They have developed astrophotography,
astronomy ,´astro-tales´ and radioham studios.

ARISS is an
international educational outreach program partnering the participating space
agencies, NASA, Russian Space Agency, ESA, CNES, JAXA, and CSA, with the AMSAT
and IARU organizations from participating countries.
ARISS offers
an opportunity for students to experience the excitement of Amateur Radio by
talking directly with crewmembers onboard the International Space Station.
Teachers, parents and communities see, first hand, how Amateur Radio and
crewmembers on ISS can energize youngsters' interest in science, technology and
learning.
