ARISS contact planned for school in Nuoro, Ityaly

Friday April 29, 2011 at 15:56 UTC  68, which is 17.56 CEST, an ARISS contact is plannend with Scuola Secondaria I Grado “M.Maccioni” Nuoro, Italy.

The secondary school "M.A. Maccioni" located on the outskirts of the Nuoro, is attended by about 500 students. The school has a big theatre, a gym, four media rooms and trhee classroom with multiple blackboards. Students and teachers are very interested in scientific and especially astronomy topics.

During the Spring Festival, in collaboration with the school, the Astronomical Association of Nuoro organized a day devoted to sun observation. In this context, the ARISS School Contact is an excellent opportunity for the students to extend the activities previously undertaken by the teachers and the members of the association for the study of astronomy and space conquest.

The contact will be a direct, operated by IK1SLD.

10. Come fate ad andare in bagno e fare la doccia?

11. L’acqua che utilizzate proviene dalla terra oppure viene riciclata?

12. siate mai usciti fuori dalla stazione?

13. Come risolvete il problema dei rifiuti sulla ISS?

14. Quali sono gli effetti della mancanza di gravita sui vostro corpi?

15. Come si vedono il sole e le stelle da lassu ?

16. Come si fa nello spazio a regolare la notte e il giorno?

17. Nel tempo libero ascolti musica, se si che tipo?

18. Quali sono le prossime missioni spaziali? prevedono navette che hanno velocita maggiori?

19. Se disponibile per una missione su marte?

ARISS is an international educational outreach program partnering the participating space agencies, NASA, Russian Space Agency, ESA, CNES, JAXA, and CSA, with the AMSAT and IARU organizations from participating countries.

ARISS offers an opportunity for students to experience the excitement of Amateur Radio by talking directly with crewmembers onboard the International Space Station. Teachers, parents and communities see, first hand, how Amateur Radio and crewmembers on ISS can energize youngsters' interest in science, technology and learning.
